Worship
“Worship the Lord with gladness; come into God’s presence with singing” Ps.100
Weekly Worship
Each Sunday at 10:45 am, a traditional service of scripture, prayer, singing, preaching, offering and commitment is held. Accomplished musicians–organist, choirs, other instrumentalists–all contribute to the services.
Children’s Church
A nursery is provided for ages birth to 2 years. Each Sunday early in the service a brief “Time with the Children” introduces a Bible lesson to pre-school and elementary school children. Then those children who are not old enough to sit through the remaining service may attend “Children’s Church” in the Temple Room upstairs, where a shortened, child-friendly worship service is held.
What to Wear
No matter what your personal style, you should feel comfortable at First Presbyterian. While slacks and skirts are common in the worship services, if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us. We care about you, not how you dress.
